Samurai Guitar: The MJ Elia Signature Edition by Alector Guitars
The instrument is an artwork, built from 19th-century Swiss and French barrel wood, once used to age Santorini’s rare Assyrtiko wine. Its design draws on Pliny the Elder, who linked the Gauls to the barrel and inspired the soundbox’s geometric symmetry.
